The adapters are meticulously crafted to maintain the integrity of your vehicle's foundation for your engine. These mounts are tailored for those who appreciate a blend of nostalgia and modern performance.
These mounts are direct bolt in to the factory FLAT V8 mounts. This will not fit any 4 cylinder Scout at the moment. Those will be coming in the next few months.
You can order the welded or unwelded version of this mount. We love to support DIY builders.
Theses mounts use the BARNS 4WD 3 inch wide bushings with the 9/16 bolt. (Barns sells replacement bushings that will work with these mounts) B4WK0248-5
This is the Heavy Duty 2nd Version of this mount. Mounts are 3/16 steel, the tube for the bushing, is 2 inch x .25 thick DOM tubing. If you are doing heavy off roading we recommend welding the mounts in. If you are driving normally off road then bolting them in will be more then enough.
The front part of the mounts key into your flat v8 mounts. Then you bolt the rear thought the frame. This kit uses 3/8 hardware to bolt in. Always use Grade 8, anything lower will fail with fatigue.
