Scout 80/800 to CJ fuel tank (made for EFI or LS)

Direct fit fuel tank adapter for Scout 80/800 vehicles converting to small mouth CJ-style tanks. Engineered for EFI and LS engine swaps, this adapter maintains proper fuel delivery and mounting geometry with slight modification to your frame.

We designed a rear cross member for the tank to bolt to, the cross member also can hold the brake line. This makes it so the brake system can now be integrated with the chassis and not on the body.

Simplifies the transition between classic Scout fuel systems and modern engine platforms. 

This works best if you have 1 inch ploy body mounts and a YJ filler neck. You will install the neck in the rear quarter as you can see in the instructions under build resources.

For LS or EFI builds we recommend using the Holley CJ drop in fuel pump. It makes any cj tank ready for 58 psi. Then route that to a LS style fuel filter if you need a return. (LS engines do require a return, even if the fuel rail does not supply one.)

This is the mounting system only. 

Next you will need

- 15 gallon CJ small mouth tank (1 inch ID filler, 3/4 ID vent)

 - YJ filler neck and housing

 - 1 inch and 3/4 inch fuel hose about 2 feet of each

 - 1 inch energy suspension round body bushings (lifts the body just enough to pass the hoses through when you cut the rear hole.)

- Adequate fuel line to attach to your system
